Text Selection: Highlight only the verse

I just saw that I no longer can highlight an entire verse without also highlighting the verse number. Used to be able just to highlight what I selected. Now my verse numbers are more difficult to make out among the highlights. Please let me just highlight the parts I selected and do not automatically add things.

    I agree, leave the number out of it. 

    However, it seems to be version specific, e.g. KJV, NKJV, SBLGNT select the number, ESV, LHB, NBLA(Spanish), RVA(Spanish) do not. (I haven't tested ALL the Bibles...)

    And - allow highlighting of the number only, and not the verse. Separate colors for each. Would be REALLY valuable. And could cross over between translations.
