Setting Visual Filters off by default

I hate having to go in every time I open a new resource and turn off the resource and notes and highlights visual filters, which I consider distracting. Why not add a setting to turn them off by default?

@donaldajohns@yahoo.com - it's possible to do that for individual notebooks by clicking on the arrow next to each notebook, and then selecting "Do not show in any books". Does that meet your needs?0

@donaldajohns@yahoo.com - you're referring to popular highlights. Again, you can click on the little arrow next to the line in the visual filter and turn them off across all your books. But I'll definitely take your suggestion as a vote from having this turned on by default. Thanks for the feedback.0

In addition, have the settings be able to be specific by device and not sync across all my devices would be stellar. Mac display is great, some of my pc displays and even on mobile devices the highlights and such are not so great. Having to toggle them on and off is a pain.0

This option already exists in Logos for visual filters, notes and community highlights. Simply choose the option not to show in any book.
