Add ability to pin navigation bar

Sometimes it is ok to hide the navigation bar and sometimes it is not. If I am just reading then it's great to have the extra screen space. However, when sitting in church and trying to navigate quickly I need it to stay visible. The part that stays visible is very small and I sometimes have to tap 3 or 4 times before I hit it just right. I understand I can 'flick' to bring it up but that moves me sometimes 10-15 verses messing up the history and it is still an extra tap. Please add ability to pin the navigation bar.

Also, bring back the ability to type directly into the reference box. Tapping the search icon is not intuitive. I am a long time mobile user and this seemingly little change is driving me crazy!
