Please add the ability to anchor notes to dates without having to open a devotional

The ability to anchor notes to dates is incredible, but this should also be a standalone feature, rather than having to open a devotional to get that ability.

    I wish I could upvote this hundreds  of times!
    I'm glad it can be done at all but the current method feels like a hack.
