"Read Aloud" & Bluetooth Buttons

It would be great if the tts "Read Aloud" feature could utilize the remote buttons on Bluetooth headsets.
The buttons could be configured as:
1. "Play" (single-click).....Play/Pause
2. "Play" (double-click).....Highlight
3. "Rewind" (single-click).....Go back one paragraph/sentence
4. "Fast-Forward" (single-click).....Go forward one paragraph/sentence
If this were possible, then audio could be used to read through books quickly, while highlighting could be used to mark sections to read more deeply later (or to add simple highlighting that could be further edited later).
