Notes: Create Notes Inside Active Notebook

When I open a Notebook and create a note, often the note is created (by default) in a notebook other than my active notebook (it’s still one of my notebooks, just not the one I’ve currently navigated into). I would like the notes to be created inside the notebook that is currently active. This seems the most logical behavior.
Sometimes I forget it does this, and then my note ends up in some other notebook by mistake. I almost always open the notebook I want to create my note inside, mostly just by habit because that’s how files work in most other software / apps.
