Sermon/Homily "theme" as symbol/image/metaphor

I personally find the Logos preaching themes irrelevant as I often struggle to find the relationship between the passage and the suggested themes. I then become frustrated that Logos does not support the substitute I use for "theme" -- a symbol, image, or metaphor. It not only informs the sermon, but it draws on all the texts of the service, provides one criterion for the choice of music, and informs the appropriate decoration of the service space. In addition, the images weave together the liturgical year, and the Christians' experience of art, music, literature, personal devotions ... There are a number of resources that tie images to Scripture; I am most familiar with the work of Gail Ramshaw. Please add to Logos support for "preaching images" equivalent to "preaching themes."
