Notebook Default Notes Icons

I would find it helpful to set a default note color and icon for each notebook. Thus when adding notes, the active notebook would dictate the default icon shape and color. Eventually that would help encode the notes flags in the text. For example, sermon notes are one symbol, class notes another, and personal study different yet according to for what purpose I'm studying.

I find it odd that opening a notebook and creating a note does not match the note icon to the others already present in the notebook. The OP's suggestion is exactly what I would like to have.
