As I read Rick Holland s Uneclipsing the Son, I imagined that I was sitting in a pew listening to him preach. His words always are crisp and clear and penetrate the heart. Someone said long ago that we should keep the main thing as the main thing. The main thing in the Christian life is Christ! While that may not sound like radical news to many Christians, it is so true that many other things in our lives, even some good ones, often eclipse the Son as the focus of our love and devotion.
