Indy, I never said that I was forced to upgrade to Logos 10. What I said was – even though I have already spent about $1200.00 USD on Logos software, I am still forced to purchase at least a “Silver Package” to get the software upgrades. When I had a chance to download Logos 10 I did so. I then started to buy Commentaries, Dictionaries, Study Bibles, Lexicons etc. I had no idea at that time that I had to buy one of your expensive packages. I thought, because I planned on purchasing these individual items that I would have the upgraded version of Logos 10. I saw all the times that these packages (bronze, silver, gold etc.) were being offered but it never dawned on me that I had to purchase one of these to get the paid version of Logos 10. I thought I already did that when I found myself spending $1200.00 on these individual products. And it does not stop at spending this much in USD; I am from Canada so that amounts to over $1600.00 Canadian Dollars. Why don’t you people offer the upgrade for a certain figure ($200.00 USD as an example) rather than forcing people to also purchase these Bible Packages. When I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, Bill Gates never forced me to also purchase a $900.00 software package in order to get all that came with Windows 10. Believe me when I tell you: I am a free-enterprise guy with his own business. So, I’m not against people making money. But what you guys are doing to get the upgrades that come with Logos 10 paid version is highway robbery. And, by doing this, Logos is displaying greed rather than using all this software as a ministry to get to know Jesus better.
