Cursor focus lost on notes

In Mac Desktop (25.2.56), when editing a note, then switching to another tab, and then going back to that note by selecting it from its tab, the cursor focus is not maintained. When switching back to a note, by clicking on its top tab, the cursor focus should be maintained so the user can simply, select and type.

Here is the workflow problem: 1. you are typing in a note, 2. you go to a different tab in the same panel to get information, 3. you click the tab to return to the previous note you were working on, 4. the system beeps at you because the live cursor does not return to the note when it regains the focus. For notes, at least, please make the live cursor follow the note tab that has the focus. Why should the user need to take another step to click in the note to restore the cursor?
I realize that if the different tab is in a different panel, this is not a problem because the note is visible and can be selected. But when you select a different tab in the same panel (step #2), you cannot select the note directly because it is covered, and to get back to the note, you need to select its tab (step #3), and then the cursor does not automatically return to the note that you had just been editing (#4).0 -
Don't you think you can make it so that when you click a tab that has a note file that the cursor automatically goes to the end of the note so one can start typing? Click the tab with the note and start typing. Why should the user have to manually place the cursor on the note?0
