Automatically add date/time to a slide

I would like to see something equivalent to Excel's =NOW() which fills in the current date and time. You could place the command on a slide and it would show the date and time automatically.
Also, =TODAY() command that automatically fills in the current date. Would be helpful.
Or, a block that you can add to a slide with this information similar to a textbox.
