Media for text backgrounds (background shapes effect)

For our churches lower thirds we want to have a image to appear behind the text (same as a lot of churches) however when there is no text (ie blank slide) we want it to disappear. mostly for the sermon. we are currently just using a background image for songs and manually editing the slides for the sermon to make that effect. it would work nicely in the background shapes effect.
