Weymouth's greek edition was one of three base editions in the making of Nestle's launching edition, but was later placed by Bernhard Weiss's work. It seems quite clear that Nestle's insight in editing his NTG (the main text displays the consensual reading of different Greek editions, the apparatus documents the differences) might have come from Weymouth --- unless he had some substantial contribution to Nestle's project, why should Nestle adopt the work of a high school teacher!  Weymouth's edition, often neglected, plays a role in the history of development of NTG.
