SUGG:Consistent access to library

I would like to suggest that access to the library be made more consistent. I can create a library browser by clicking "+" to add a new tab. However, there is no way to do that through the Tools dropdown.

I suggest, therefore, the following reorganization in the Tools dropdown:

Resources
     Library
     Collections
     Favorites

Access (or something like that)
    History
    Reading Lists
    Visual Markup

The library browser as window is especially important for creating collections since the library dropdown from the title bar tends to overlay the collections drop boxes on smaller screens.

    Hi Thomas,

Do you mean you would like the Library panel to remain open?  You can do that now by right-clicking on the Library button on main toolbar and choosing 'Open', 'Open in a new tab', or 'Open in a floating window'. You can also click on Library and drag the tab to the left or right of the main window (where blue hotspot appears) to open in a new tab. You can resize the panel so it fits on the screen as the old LLS Library Browser did. You can then save a layout with Library in the form, size, and location you want, by itself, or with other resources. And you can drag that layout to the shortcut bar to have one click access to it.

    I hope that helps.

Yes, that eases the pain. However, for consistency's sake I still think that the library browser should be accessible through the tools dropdown too
