Gboard Glitches

Does anybody else get weird glitches when they're trying to make notes utilizing the gboard? The Google keyboard. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the gboard multiple times. For some reason whenever I go to try to add to an existing note, even though I tap at the end of the note, it automatically jumps back to the beginning, and overrides a handful of characters in the beginning of the note. This is extremely annoying. A lot of people use gboard since it connects better to a voice to text software.
