I would buy "Teach as He Taught" by Robert G. Delnay, if it were available on Logos. This book shows how Jesus taught. He walked in close fellowship with God. He studied Scripture and mastered His subjects. He prayed for His students. He spoke to people directly. He rarely used words with more than one syllable. He used illustrations.
If you want to hold people's attention and communicate God's word to them more effectively, this book will show you how Jesus taught.
Dr. Delnay was a man of God. Whenever he spoke, we always said, "Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?"
We always looked at each other in amazement when Dr. Delnay dismissed class, not believing how quickly the time had flown by.
