Highlighting Option

In the "Emphasis Markup" options, you have a "Newline Before and After" option. Is there a way to separate these into two distinct options? I preach from the Logos app on my iPad, and I like have my focused passage "chunked" visually. The "Newline Before and After" highlight is the best option available, but because it forces a space before AND after, it often creates two spaces between each "chunk" instead of just one single space. It would be nice to have symmetry throughout.
