Eschatology is important, because it affects how we interpret much of the Bible. One of the biggest questions in eschatology is the events of 70AD. Josephus was an eyewitness. Chilton's book is a commentary on Revelation that mines Josephus' works for parallels. Very, very important. I read the print edition, but I would buy it again to have it in Logos.
