Reading Plans: Allow default Reading Plan settings in Android

Before you swallowed up WordSearch, I used that program for all my computer Bible study except for reading plans, which I really loved in Logos.
I think it was version 9 that changed the Android reading plan display so badly IMHO. Instead of 6 options (Open Book, Change Book, etc.) as it is now, it then automatically opened to what is now called Open Book. Now it opens to show just today's reading. Since the reading plan frequently starts and/or ends a reading in the middle of a sentence, this is very inconvenient. If there were a setting that allowed us to choose what we want for the default view, that would solve the entire problem. As it is, I frequently have to go through Open Book to read the end of a sentence (like yesterday), and then the next day the beginning of the sentence (like today).
I have mentioned this before, but no change has happened.
Please see the attached screenshot to illustrate what I'm referring to.
Thanks.
