Killer App

I'd like to suggest that you develop an app that is a sibling to the logos app. One that is dedicated to preaching only. One that goes immediately to the last sermon I was working on - and also from there I can choose any other sermon "in the hopper." For years I have shied away from using the logos app because to use it in church - when i'm up in front of everyone, i have to (1) click on the app; (2) then find the hamburger that brings up the side menu...then (3) find "Preaching Mode" amid a rather large number of menu options; ...then (4) click on "preaching mode" ...then (5) find the sermon I want to deliver; (6) click on it; and then (7) begin preaching; this is intimidating and I've just chosen to copy the script into "notes" - which defeats the purpose of having a preaching mode. I"m a computer scientist. I know that you should be able to use a good deal of the code you already have ... and just put a "stand-alone" wrapper on it to make an app that would make the sermons immediately accessible. For a killer app -- you might also explore ways to incorporate inherant voice-to-text features in iOS so that the app could capture spoken words while practicing and turn them into text. Just a thought. feel free to follow up at stevenjrye@gmail.com if you have any questions or want to offer me a job. (Just kidding)
