This Australian minister wrote a number of expository books, particularly on the death and resurrection of Jesus, such as The Man of Sorrows, The Crown of Thorns, The Prince of Life, and Then came Jesus: Studies in Luke 24 and John 20.  He also wrote biographical studies, such as Makers of Religious Freedom in the Seventeenth Century, Masters of the English Reformation, Oxford and the Evangelical Succession, and Cambridge and the Evangelical Succession.
