Search within Resource

Please make it possible to perform a text search from directly within a resource. Right now, in order to do a search within a particular resource, we need to open a new search pane, enter the search criteria and then select to do that search within an open resource and then select the resource. Then, when we find the search word, we click on it and it takes us back to the open resource within which we were already trying to search.

Why not allow a simple text search using the three dots in the upper right hand corner? This would not be a complex search—which is possible with the search pane—but a simple search that just finds the next/previous occurrence of the search word.

This would make looking for particular things in particular resources particularly easy!

Thanks!

@Gregory Wolff  – This is already possible, but it’s not very clear. You can do it by typing in your search query into the reference box at the top of the screen, then choosing Inline. In the next version of Logos, we’re going to try and make this clearer. In that version there will be a search button in the top toolbar that will function in the same way.

Wow! Very easy! BUT, very non-intuitive. Now that I know, however, it's a breeze! Thanks for pointing that out. I hope others will see this and be able to use it! Thanks again!
