Hey I was wondering it is possible to add Bible translations in Serbian Language. This would help a lot to me in my study and Preaching. Thank you in advance!
Thanks for your suggestion. The translation Свето писмо, Нови српски превод should be available some time in 2025!
That is great news! Looking forward to that moment. Would it be possible to also add Translation from Danicic Karadzic? Its on public domain and still used a lot. Even I use it in my study.
No promises, but I'll make a note to look into it, since the public domain status appears to be clear and it is available in a standardized format. It would help to get more upvotes on your suggestion here! 😉
my dear brother in Christ, that would be hard to find. I would be very blessed if I could have access to it. Preaching mode would be a different experience for me when I preach in Serbian. This way I have to manually insert Bible passages. Thank you for your help!
If we had more books available in Serbian, I am sure more people would be interested in Serbia for logos. Maybe I can help with that somehow. Please let me know on my email if there is a way I can help: stefanvika@outlook.com
God bless!
No, I'm saying, I have found it in a standardized format. It's freely available on https://thedigitalbiblelibrary.org/ to participating organizations, which makes it easy to implement. Unfortunately, our capacities to implement new Bible translations are still relatively small, and we have a pretty long list to work through at the moment.
Wonderful news! I’m looking forward to being able to expand my library in Logos.
Note volume 4 of this is in Logos, but it's an eleven-volume set, and all Logos has is volume 4, and busted links to volumes 8 and 11. I am suggesting the individual volumes - all eleven - and not the single combined volume offered for Kindle, which has a completely botched table of contents - a total fail on Amazon's…
Please add the "New Russian Translation" bible to the Logos. If you need help with copyright permissions, I am very well-connected in Ukraine and Russia and should be able to help. In the USA alone, we have over 400 Ukraine/Russian-speaking churches. Within the last five years, over seventy English-speaking churches were…
This author has released many translations into PB's of them to other Logos users. It is only fair that they also know he has published works as well. Amazon blurb The Life Of Samuel Of Kalamun is a hagiographical account of the life of a Coptic monk who lived between about 597 and 695 AD. He entered the monastery of…
The articles in this are informative and concise. It is about HOW the Bible has been interpreted. Articles even include entries discussing how ANE writings were interpreted anciently. It draws a distinction between apocalypse and apocalyptic, which I have never encountered before. Jewish interpretation methods are covered.…
