Hey I was wondering it is possible to add Bible translations in Serbian Language. This would help a lot to me in my study and Preaching. Thank you in advance!
Thanks for your suggestion. The translation Свето писмо, Нови српски превод should be available some time in 2025!
That is great news! Looking forward to that moment. Would it be possible to also add Translation from Danicic Karadzic? Its on public domain and still used a lot. Even I use it in my study.
No promises, but I'll make a note to look into it, since the public domain status appears to be clear and it is available in a standardized format. It would help to get more upvotes on your suggestion here! 😉
my dear brother in Christ, that would be hard to find. I would be very blessed if I could have access to it. Preaching mode would be a different experience for me when I preach in Serbian. This way I have to manually insert Bible passages. Thank you for your help!
If we had more books available in Serbian, I am sure more people would be interested in Serbia for logos. Maybe I can help with that somehow. Please let me know on my email if there is a way I can help: stefanvika@outlook.com
God bless!
No, I'm saying, I have found it in a standardized format. It's freely available on https://thedigitalbiblelibrary.org/ to participating organizations, which makes it easy to implement. Unfortunately, our capacities to implement new Bible translations are still relatively small, and we have a pretty long list to work through at the moment.
Wonderful news! I’m looking forward to being able to expand my library in Logos.
This Study Bible has an extensive reading guide with discussion questions … a great complement to Oxford's better known Catholic Study Bible. First published more than a quarter century ago, The Catholic Bible: Personal Study Edition has long served readers eager for a reliable, accessible guide to lead them into the…
This work is available in Accordance, so it already exists. And Martin Abegg always owns the rights to his work, so he can sell it to whomever he chooses. Logos is sorely missing a number of his excellent works, this one included. This work is essential for the study of the Hebrew Language and the formation of early…
Amazon blurb: This work gathers the Amphilochia, a vast collection of questions and answers written by Saint Photius the Great to Metropolitan Amphilochios of Cyzicus. Spanning theological, philosophical, scriptural, and practical topics, it shows Photius addressing difficulties in Scripture with clarity, patience, and…
Every Christian is called to live the crucified life (Galatians 2:20). In that sense we are all dying daily dying is how Christians live. We die to ourselves, our wills, our comforts, and our reputations for the glory of Jesus. The wonder of applying this biblical principle to everyday life is that it brings life and joy…
Does Faithlife/Logos have any plans to update the text of the ESV in Logos? Crossway recently put out an updated 2025 text that fixes (in my opinion) some translation issues in Genesis 3 and 4, as well as in John 1:18. There are other changes as well that have been well-received. You can view that update here:…
