Live Closed Captions English to Spanish

I would like to see a feature in Proclaim where closed captions/subtitles can be integrated in the presentations and, that the source captions are in English and output in Spanish or another language. This feature is in PowerPoint and Keynote. PowerPoint has it more developed and it is a very useful tool in a bilingual church and even more so in the mission field. I hope several here will VOTE IT UP to add this feature. Our leadership is considering dropping Proclaim because this one feature is missing. adding two more monitors and another laptop for PPT... is too much.

Yes I was just asked about how to do this because a smaller church we planted started doing power points translation, but thats because the pastor is a power point guru and is doing all his own slides and wearing a second mic (ugh) to get translation - would never work for us but one of the reasons I pushed to try proclaim is so we could somehow implement this (even if its a smaller screen)

I DID IT - its a bit clumsy but I have PowerPoint sending Translation to a second screen then I overlay the captions on the live screen for the Audience using a combination of NDI Screen Capture (with Region of interest) and OBS Software in Projector mode mixing the 2 and keying out the background on the caption box - ok that sounds like a big confusing mess but I'm willing to talk to someone if they want to try it or better yet, if the Proclaim folk want to look at what I did an integrate it all the better - Warning this is being done on an i9-12700 Processor and a RTX 4060 Graphics card that I just built for the church, I am driving 5-7 NDI Outputs and 3 screens with a 4th video feed, and running PowerPoint Proclaim OBS all on the same machine simultaneously (I don't know how it would work on a simple laptop setup) - Chris Conti 508-744-6393 Clear Line Technologies, Inc. chris@clearlineaudio.com
