It appears that Logos change the title and the author so people will buy the same book? For example, The Epistle of James by James Anderson is not the same as the Letter of James - by Scott McKnight seems deceptive to me!!!

@Gary Box  I'm not certain I am following what you're suggesting (probably my fault!). Can you provide links to the titles you're talking about?

Regardless, I can assure you we don't do things to try to get people to buy duplicate copies of books. That would just create more work on our customer service reps when users would inevitably ask to get refunds for duplicate purchases.

@Rick Mansfield Don't know how to provide links, but The Epistle of James by James Anderson is not the  same as the Letter of James - by Scott McKnight - The Epistle to the Galatians by Ronald Fung is not the same as The Letter to the Galatians by Donald Desilva - The Gospel of John by J. Ramsey Michaels and The Gospel of John by Leon Morris. The Chat Room persons told me the publisher produces a new book with a different title and that Logos was not at fault. Seems like there ought to be some warning that the books are for the most part the same with some editorial changes.

@Gary Box  well, if the book has a completely different author, it will always be more than just "some editorial changes." There will usually be significant differences and probably all new material. But if you ever feel the content in a new copy is not distinctive enough, feel free to always ask for a refund.
