Orginizing notes and clippings

It would be great to have a more efficient way to organize notes and clippings. The drag and drop method of moving notes and clippings is to cumbersome and slow. Whether it be a numerical system in which you could label notes as 1, 2, 3, etc and the system put them in numerical order or a better and more effective way being a tile system where all of your notes or clippings are put on the screen as individual tiles to be dragged and dropped where they are needed. Dragging and dropping without seeing the whole is not efficient or conducive to organization and time management. thank you.
