A better way to jump from a search to the result

When doing a search inline in a Bible, and clicks a reference, instead of what for me feels natural and is wanted, namely to be taken to the text in the same window, a new tab is created. My suggestion is to either have an external search panel, or jump to the text in the search window (and save the last search result, making it easy to do further lookups).

I am confused as to what you want to do. In an inline Search, the results appear as a filter. There is no need to click on an entry to see the results. If one does not wish to have the filter, run a standard search from the search panel. You can still set your navigation unit to search result for quick navigation between results. You might wish to post in the forums to get suggestions on how to accomplish your goal with the current app.
