word "Wideness" will not appear in title box on title slide

We have a hymn titled "There's a Wideness"; on the title slide, the word "Wideness" does not appear in the title box, although it does appear in the credits box on the title slide. If I change any part of the word "Wideness" it shows up correctly, but the second I change it back to "Wideness" it disappears again (the title says "There's a" instead of "There's a Wideness"; the following modifications are displayed when entered: "Widenes" (end "s" removed); "wideness" (lowercase "w" instead of capital "W"). Also, if I add any number of spaces, it still does not display the word "Wideness," however if I add a character, even just a period, after the word "Wideness," it displays the word "Wideness" along with whatever characters are typed afterwards. Any ideas what might be causing this? And again, it is only in the title box on the title slide; the title is always correct in the credits box on the title slide.
