Typo in CS Lewis Miracles

Not sure where to post this...but I think this sentence from CS Lewis' Miracles has a typo....don't think it should be "by"...think it should be "be"...
But if one had to answer this person, one would have to say that if you called the miraculous conception divine adultery you would by driven to find a similar divine adultery in the conception of every child—nay, of every animal too.
