Set default note file for new notes

Logos desktop lacks the option the mobile apps have: to select a default note file for new notes.
Any new note I add by clicking the 'Add Note' button in the pop up menu ends up with 'no notebook' assigned. (If a specific notebook happens to be open, notes will go there. But if multiple notebooks or none are open in different tabs, this does not work.)
Example: I want my new notes to be added to the 'Exegesis' notebook most of the time, or to the previous note file used if I am working on a project.
