This collection, according to Wesley himself, is "Extracts from and Abridgments of the Choicest Pieces of Practical Divinity Which Have Been Published in the English Tongue". Wesley abridged and edited one of the finest collections of selections from pious theologians ever put together. Originally published in 50 volumes, the late edition has 30 volumes.
