This feature is useful, at times, but I don't need it to operate everytime I reference a passage. Is it possible to make this an option? Thanks!
From the sounds of it you want to set the follow option to "None." See below. You can also link it to a specific option. If you want it only occasionally for one or two verses hover over the verse you want to see in different translations and press Alt + ` (the character above Esc on most keyboards). highlight a couple verse and press it to see both verses in Text comparison.
Thanks for your respons Phillip but here's my dilemma below:
I'd like to have the option to choose whether or not these windows are displayed after a search. Right now any reference from the home page and PG displays these two windows automatically. I tried your option but that doesn't seem to remedy the problem.
ahh...that's a different problem :-)
James,
These two windows were added in Beta 5 for all passage guides / exegetical guides run from the home page. I asked twice why these were introduced as they appear to me of no value when a passage guide is first run. I received no response.
I now run passage guides purely from the guides menu.
