Greetings, all.

I am reading the forums and seeing old discussion, but not certain how to best construct a query in Logos 38 to find book reviews in journals. I am sure there is more than one way to skin a cat, but I would be curious if there are some successful search examples/strategies.

Thanks in advance

I have two ways. I have defined a collection called 'Journals' which I can search on, or I can just conduct a Book search and look at the results by type: Journal. (see below)

Then I tweak my precise search to pull in reviews and the topic I am interested in, starting with "review" and "book review", then topic. It usually creates some false hits, so I will watch this thread to see if others approach it in a more efficient way.

Donovan, thanks for the quick response. I'll play around with that a bit and see if I can figure out some ways to refine it.

Here, I've constrained a Books Search to books of type:journal and also just to search for Heading Text

I played a bit more with this and found the journalArticle: command. Every day is a school day with Logos!
