Description

The copy Bible verse tool occasionally removes a space between words. This happens in poetic sections between lines when there is no punctuation between the two lines (Isaiah 2:2)

Repro

  1. Open Logos 4
  2. Open "Copy Bible Verse" Tool
  3. Select Isaiah 2, ESV, Microsoft Word, simple paragraphs, Copy
  4.  Paste into MS Word

Actual Result

Verse 2 imports like this: 2 It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lordshall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and all the nations shall flow to it"

Expected Result

There should be a space between "Lord" and "shall"

System Specs (if using multiple computers or not in your signature)

  • Windows Vista desktop, Intel Core 2, 2GB RAM, nVidia GeForce 7300 LE

Comments

As I mentioned above, this only seems to happen between stanzas where there is not punctuation separating the two words, however even then it is not consistent. For example, copying 1 Peter 3:10 in the NIV, there is no problem. But copying 1 Peter 3:10 in the NA27 there is a spacing issue between αγαπαν και as well as between αγαθασ παυσατω and also between δικαιους και.
