You used to Find the Link Set by the 3 vertical dots on the right-hand side. Now you have to go through a non-intuitive process to do that, which i learned about through a chat, ut now i can't remember (there were other Toolbar issues), so I'll have to look it up.

Bad enough If you only had one (1) book to link (which would be meaningless), but super slow when you want to link multiple commentaries (I want to link my books, but I also don't want an extra menu open all the time taking book space)

The new tool bar is the worst. They moved everything again making it super hard to follow along with any training videos for new users. I mean, I been using logos forever, so I am not really effected by it but I still don't like it. The worst part is its a feature… If you are not sub'd then you don't even get it which means there is a way to convert back to the old style and LOGOS should give us that option to do so like we are able to move the panel to the side (which I hate).

Non-subscribers are likely getting the Dynamic Toolbar forced on them as well in the future. (No timeframe as of yet) I'm making sure I keep a copy of V36 of the engine just in case they do not reconsider forcing this on us.

It’s intuitive and easy to use. I found link set faster than going to the 3 dots menus where it was sort of hidden before.

It takes some getting used to but the new dynamic toolbar is superior in many ways.

Really? One click and it's A-F. As you know… smiling. Though the mobile linking is even easier.

I have no issue with the use of it, I just personally don't like it, and I absolutely do not like that they keep changing this on us ever since logos 6. I pay 50$ a month to sub to MP seminars (huge scam since my logos sub is $20 for all data sets features and 400 books… ) to watch training videos to refresh on things I forget or just to show someone else, and I can not follow along. in the past I could use say the last version and would be ok, but now everything is different from logos 10. Very frustrating. Just give us the option to use the old way, "if something is not broken, don't fix it" sure updating is good but this is a literal down grade.

Every panel when first opened has Home selected. There on the right end, you see "Link Set" How difficult it that to find?

Actually - depending on your layout, Home may actually be under the "More" tab - so it would be More>Home>Link Set>"Select the Letter" - rather than click the Three Dots and "Select the Letter" (This is based on the night I had to deal with the new Toolbar before getting out of the Beta Group and using the Web App. Unless something has changed that has Home always active on Layout Tabs that are not wide enough to avoid the "More" - due to the footprint of the new Toolbar menu layout)

So is it "difficult to find?" maybe/maybe not - but is it inefficient in comparison to what we are used to - Yes

I've been hammering the request for an option of the two toolbars - unfortunately I was informed that at some point everyone is going to be stuck with the "Dynamic" Toolbar whether they want it or not. (Version 36 is pre Dynamic Toolbar - may be the only way to avoid being stuck with it)

I'm kind of 'fearful' the choice won't be which software version (instead a subscription menu switch set to 'all users'). Not being 'cynical' (anyone not-thrilled-with-Logos belongs to greek cynics way back when), but I'd really have to figure out 'what next'. A whole bunch of 'Mores' and default -opened-menus is not a pleasant dream-come-true.

Back when you earlier pulled Bob's old subscription message, I did go offline for many years (L7-L9). I hope that's still do-able.

The install of V36 and offline permanently would be the only current way of avoiding the forced toolbar change. I am testing the old Linux trick to still allowed resource updates and purchases but not allowing the program updates….

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but 'set channel to dummyname' refuses app updates. 'set channel to default' returns it. (from Andrew).

Back in my offline days, I used the mobile and web app for new purchases. Else happily free offline.

Link Sets isn't hard to find, it's under Home. Having a Classic Bar setting for those who have trouble adapting at their own pace is fine, but this is just the tiniest bump in a learning curve.

I think you're right - I saw Dave state that set update channel to manual works to prevent Program Updates, but allow resources to download
