I'd think that'd be hard to manage … books that have been earlier 'mined' but may be in-negotiations (contract update). Or maybe not.

I also had this question today: "what is the outline of world war 2?", and one of the resulting books is

Liza Mundy: Code Girls: The Untold Story of the American Women Code Breakers of World War II.

But not for sale in Logos.

That book seems to be interesting, anyway 😶

Some users likely have it in their library because Logos sold it at one time. The All search is not customized by user.

Code girls is from 2017 and it is not a particularly theological book. Saints, angels and demons was published in October 15, 2024.

I might suggest that they add an indicator that it is not available in Logos, or even better, a link to Amazon.

Your right. It is available - the link is simply to the wrong store.

Looks like I am not able to find the correct link.

Could you please provide a link that works?

And what do you mean with "general ebook store" Something that Faithlife/Logos is selling, or something not related to Logos at all?

Looks like Logos has a problem. These books are not available to me:

"The publisher has not made this resource available for purchase in your country or region."

The text in the original picture is a bit misleading. "This is not a product we are currently selling"

I tested Amazon Kindle and I was able to buy and download and read the "Code girls" book.

So there is something strange in the negotiations with Logos and the publishers.

Sorry, my earlier post was from my mobile phone and there I see this info only after I put it into the cart (which I didn''t do due to price. At $ 1.99 or even 5.99 I would have tried to buy). On desktop it is earlier and I see the same as you - the usual reminder that we are not really living in a global economy. :-(

The accuracy (or better. lack of) Logos error messages bugs me since over ten years…. I keep books in my wishlist , including a Psalms book from Tim Keller, where Logos claims they don't sell them, and I always think: you do, but just not to me.
