Does Information actually save in Layouts

Is there a particular reason why Information does not save in Layouts as does the rest of the information to the left of it as shown in this clip. Or is there a way to save it, that I'm missing or obviously don't know about.

Information data is based on hover or click - neither of which is saved (note the lack of the highlight showing cursor position as well). So there is nothing to save, if I understand correctly what you are asking.

I think I'm not making myself clear. In the picture I posted, how I get any information under the title (Information) is for instance, clicking on a word. It will bring up a list of Dictionaries / Lexicons and also how that particular word is translated in various translations. That I thought should save in the Layout, but I'm sure you can tell me why it isn't.

I hope I understand your question. What @MJ. Smith was saying is that the infromation in the information pane on the right hand side of your screenshot is connected to what you hover over (as per default settings in Logos). You can change it between hover and click in the three-dots button on the "Information" window in Logos. With that being said, it was never designed to be a static holder of information, like the passage guide, sermon helps, or many of the other windows are. It's meant for quick loading information on something you hover over/click on while looking through the Bible. So, it's not built to retain what was loaded into it when you make it a part of a saved layout, (or, at least, I was not able to make that happen when I tested it).

    I hope this makes sense.

Yes sir, that makes sense. What M.J.Smith said, also made sense… I just didn't have the intelligence to understand it. Thanks for clarifying what I should have already known. Much appreciated.

oops - I was too succinct again. I don't see the embarrassed emoji

It was actually a good question, one thing that I had never thought of before. I had to test it a few times to make sure what I was writing was true. I'm glad you asked the question!
