Free app with Essential-only available?

I purchased a few packages since I first got the Free app. I recommended it to a friend, but only wants the free version at this time. I did a CHAT with someone that said he "thinks" it is no longer available and was replaced with an eReader with a search function, and no Bible Study tools. Is there a time limit of the Trial version?

Yes, it is still available and the base app is still free forever. Just have your friend make an account and they can download it, then they can go to this link to download free books: https://www.logos.com/search?query=*&sortBy=PriceLow&limit=30&page=1&ownership=unowned&geographicAvailability=availableToMe&useFuzzySearch=false&viewMode=list
