Can I delete my webcache folder?

In my AppData Logos folder, I found a folder named 'Webcache' with almost 20gb of data.

What is this folder for?
Can I safely delete this folder with no consequences for my (online) features in my desktop Logos?

I think it is a cache for online features to speed them up when they run. If you delete them, Logos will create new empty folders and gradually fill them up again, but everything will work.
