I've been reading other's posts about visual filters not working correctly, but I haven't been able to find my exact issue. If it is there, I've missed it. My issue is weird, at least to me. I set up a visual filter to highlight the kings of Judah and Israel, but it seems to work only selectively. The thing is, when I first created it, I remember it working correctly. For example:
While this example is from Isaiah, I have the same problems with the same kings in the books of Kings and Chronicles. The same kings (and these are not the only ones) keep being ignored.
According to my filter, Uzziah, Jotham, and Ahaz should all be highlighted in a similar way as Hezekiah with their corresponding number of succession above. However, it is not working properly. I've checked my filter settings which are:
While my filter is detailed, it works some of the time:
For Uzziah, I even got creative and tried: person:"Uzziah (King)" INTERSECTS Azariah but even that didn't work.
The above example is in NIV 2011, however, I've checked other tagged Bibles. The same issue happens in the NIV 1984, the ESV, ASV, etc.
Solutions I've tried
I've tried deleting and recreating the filter to no avail. I've tried reindexing Logos twice. I've tried turning the filter off, restarting my computer, turning the filter on and restarting my computer.
Is this a known bug? Or is there something more I can try that will hopefully fill out my missing highlights from my visual filter?
