NIV Bible / Listener’s Bible

I own the Listener’s Audio Bible read by Max McLean. When I pull up the NIV Bible and hit the audio the reading is a computer voice. Is there a way to change the computer audio voice that reads the NIV to the Max McLean version?

    Hi Bryan and welcome!

There are a few Bibles that have associated audio files for reading such as the ESV. Each Bible requires a specific recording associated with it to have it read aloud by a person rather than a computer. While you can't read aloud the NIV in the Max McLean voice, you can purchase an audio version of the NIV at the Logos store. I do not know if they all follow along or if it is just the audio. The ESV has a file that will follow along as you select read aloud.

You may want to search for audio bibles in the Logos store or contact support.

The new Mac OS does have some pretty human voice choices if you are on a Mac.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you for your response. I currently use the ESV with the audio feature, and I absolutely love it. I was hoping to do the same with the NIV, but it seems like that’s not possible. Thanks again.
