I have complete access to the NIV Bible on my iPad Pro but when I try to gain access on my Mac it indicates that I have not purchased this Bible. I show it in my library and the amount of books in my library is the same between the two computers. Any suggestions?

Maybe download it to your machine or hit the update command. I have both the 1984 NIV and the 2011 NIV and both are showing up on my MacBook Pro, iPad and iPhone, so there shouldn't be an issue. I don't know of anyone having temporary access to them, which could also be the problem. Maybe someone else might pitch in and be more helpful.

There are some books that you receive free access on mobile apps but not on the desktop. Check whether the license is temporary of permanent.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

@MJ. Smith is correct. Evidently Zondervan has licensed the 1984 NIV for mobile use, but not for the desktop. If you're seeing it on the desktop, it's because you purchased it when it was available.

I have a feeling Zondervan doesn't realize this is going on. To the best of my knowledge, they pulled the 1984 NIV from distribution many years ago for all Bible software platforms.

The OP has not stated it was the NIV84 they were seeng on the iPad. Another poster introduced the NIV84 this into the dicussion as something they have a permanent license for on their desktop and as result, can use NIV84 on their mobile app. I am in that same position. All I can suggest is that it could be that the OP has a temporary license for the current NIV on the iPad app as part of the temporary licenses that come with the mobile app. Logos dont' seem to clarify anywhere what temporrary licenses come wtih the mobile app, since by their very nature being temporary, are subject to change.
