Issues with Logos on Windows since 38.1 update
Has anyone else had any issues running Logos since the newest update? On my desktop I have gone through the whole troubleshooting process and logos does not work on my desktop at all. I have the previous version on my laptop and that works fine. It's just on desktop

On my new desktop with Windows 11 and Verbum 38.1 I don’t have problems. Which Windows version are you using?

Also - what is Logos not doing? If the program will not open - you can trying holding down the CTRL key while opening the program. This will ask for you to log in and will open to a blank layout.

I'm on the latest version of windows. I have been going back and forth with customer support and have sent in my logs. From my perspective it seems like it's having an issue communicating with Faith life servers. The issue first started on my desktop and the same issue is happening on my laptop which wasn't even touched until I tried to use it. If I can get the app to launch, it is synchronizing indefinitely and won't update or download anything to my library (I even let it sit for 6 hours). It will only launch if I hold CTRL before and try signing in that way, and even then it's 50/50 on if it will start. My system is more than enough to handle Logos and has for the better part of 3 years now. I've gone through every step on the trouble shooting page and still nothing. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times. Also tried downloading it on my wife's laptop and the same issue is happening

As it is happening on multiple systems it sounds like it might be some sort of network issue.
Are you able to take your laptop to a different network environment and see if the problem perists there?

With the same issue on your Desktop and your wife's laptop - but works on your laptop… Until recently (If I understand correctly)
Have you installed any new Internet Security software/settings, added Firewall or changed Firewall settings - I don't recall seeing any issue with those myself in the past - but depending on the settings, I guess it could block communication with Logos servers… If you have a Firewall running, have you tried connecting Logos with the Firewall off?

I can't remember the right keywords but remember there was a problem with an upgrade a short time back in which we were given special directions if the application wouldn't start.
