Tag: New Forum Software... And the persistence of the default text
Since there's no tag for the forum software, I thought I'd add it in the subject. š
Really, the default text (below) should go away when the user starts to type something. Someone suggested it might be browser related, but when I was a developer, our job wasn't done until it worked as expect in all major browsers. And I see this happening a large number of times. And if that can't be accomplished, maybe just get rid of it from the start.

Yes, Logos, please do something about this. I've used lots of other applications with default text and it always goes when I start to type. I cringe every time I see this text inadvertently appended to a post.
