BUG: Problems with forum software

I have things set up so I should receive notices of all forum activity in English excluding Proclaim. But I am not.
- I was logged out of the forums for approximately 12 hours.
- I log in with 49 notices
- I read through the entire notice list and still have 19 flags
- I go to the home page, expand to see all and find a block of 6 threads with new entries in bold … I read through them i.e. items missed in my notifications list but that does not remove them from by notification count.
- How far back does the notification list go?
- What is the maximum number of notifications support?
- What is the most efficient way to find the threads that had activity, are within your parameters, but did not generate notifications?
At least I now know why a post yesterday had gotten no response although I knew the answer off the top of my head.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

A few notes for you, @MJ. Smith:

In-app notifications ("flags") are enabled or disabled within notification settings, which I know you are privy to by now. Those notifications and their settings are unique to bolded or "NEW" activity within the forums. That's simply displaying new activity.

For the first two questions you have there, you can actually view the entirety of your notifications list on your profile page, under "Notifications" (direct link)
For your third question, if you have notifications enabled for a post type or a specific use case, but the platform is not serving you notifications, please let me know so that we can troubleshoot any possible issues.
