I want to make one and jot down right away.

it was simply "N" for it. I was using the letter for highlighting names and just had to delete that shortcut and it works as I wish.

I don't believe there is one

I am not aware of a keyboard shortcut - but on Logos 10 (Pre New Toolbar) - I just right click on a word or verse and select add note. That is the quickest access to add a note that I am aware of at this time.

yeah that's how I currently add notes.

You can add it as a suggestion here → https://community.logos.com/categories/feedback-logos
