Pin Important Official Announcements to the Top

Important announcements and updates are candidates for preferential treatment and due to their vital nature should receive some distinction to their inclusion on the forums.

Neither I nor anyone else should miss out on these announcements due to the usual traffic of daily posts. As a result, pinning them to the top or giving them a separate forum, should be considered.

This kind of feature should be standard for a site as busy as these forums. Important announcements should get the attention they deserve. In my mind the only ways this can be achieved is by adopting one of the strategies I've mentioned.

There are a few pinned posts. Are you asking that additional categories of posts be pinned? If so, what else do you want pinned?

I want official announcements from Logos pinned to the top until they are no longer relevant and that's all, anything else and it will get messy imho. Also, another clean way of handling this matter is to give those announcements a separate forum. I think this would be even better; once the announcement becomes outdated it can be archived.

Unfortunately, they went. Later, wanting to read one, I assume it slid down the recent sort to be never seen again. Sigh.

I agree there should be a seperate forum for announcement so the latest can always be at the top of that thread.
