adjust reading days after reading ahead on a reading plan

is there a way to "reset" the date on a reading plan? If I have some extra time I tend to read ahead on the plan a bit and after a while I'm a few days ahead. is there a way to reset the days on the reading plan to account for the readings you've already finished?

There is no Reset where Today's Reading comes from a future date! You would have to manually alter the Plan:

    • to Start the Plan on an earlier date (depending how far you are ahead)
    • to Finish in the same number of sessions (click the current Finish to get this number).
    • use Catch up to here on the Reading for Yesterday or Today (which should be the last Reading you completed)
      • the Readings will be the same as the original
      • use the Dashboard card after completing the first Reading from the Plan itself.

But it would be easier to work with the current Plan as I suggested above.

If you are behind the Plan can be adjusted (Adjust plan from here) so that Today becomes the first catch-up Reading. I'm not sure how you want to adjust it when you are ahead, but clicking its card in Dashboard will take you to the next reading despite the message displayed.

this is an instance where I'm ahead a few days vs what the plan is. It would be great to just click the day I'm actually at and reset the plan from that day.

That's not what I was hoping for, but thanks for the ideas!
