Tyndale Commentaries - Duplicate Purchase
I had previously purchased the Tyndale Commentary on Acts by I. Howard Marshall (LLS:TNTC65ACUS /
2016-10-17T15:08:40Z / TNTC65ACUS.logos4) some time ago. I purchased the 2025 Lutheran Platinum Denominational Library and a duplicate version of the same book was downloaded (LLS:TNTC65AC /
2010-12-09T00:28:32Z / TNTC65AC.logos4). The only difference was the series name, former is "Tyndale Commentaries" and the latter is "The Tyndale Commentary Series". I believe this also happened with this same volume back in October. Am I being charged for a duplicate book?

It appears that you own both the US and the UK edition of this book:

Not sure why I would have received a copy of the UK version with my purchase of the 2025 Lutheran Platinum Denominational Library since I live in the US?

Sounds like a question for customer service. But the filename matches up with the UK edition.

I have double-up copies of nearly all the Tyndale Commentaries in my Logos library - same book - different file date stamps. I bought my first set on a CDROM from a Christian book store in the days when Faithlife let publishers sell their Logos books independently - it was published by IVP Nottingham, England. I then I updated the set in a March Madness sale with additional editions of several books from the series. Logos knew I already owned the original volumes - dynamic pricing meant I wasn't charged again for them, but it updated my collection by adding the duplicates files labelled as IVP Illinois products and the different time stamp on the file labels. Now whenever I build a commentary collection for a given book of the Bible - I get the two copies of the same IVP Tyndale commentary listed along with all my other commentary titles - annoying duplication, but I live with it. No need to worry about money - you haven't been charged twice, you just got a second copy of exactly the same book. I have no idea why you were given the British IVP copies in a Logos update, though.

@Sam Henderson I would suggest you hide one of the duplicates to prevent this from occurring if it bothers you.
